About Blind Ambitions

 It was my goal to follow through on a life-long dream to have my poetry in publication, and in late 2012 and early 2013 I set to task to achieve this goal. In May of 2013 my dream became a reality with the release of Blind Ambitions, which would later become the parent name for my future endeavours.

In 2015 I found myself becoming more and more dissatisfied with the blandness of the mass produced store bought spices. Naturally, it made sense to me to create my own blends. In doing so I had found a new passion and desire to share my blends.In time, a local restaurant began using some of my blends and their popularity grew. Soon I was making hot sauces for the restaurant as well.

The list of things I try to learn and do continues to grow, not because I grow bored with them, or for any lack of enthusiasm. It takes time for people to use up the spices and hot sauces. Since all my blends are freshly made by order I find myself with down time. In between orders I continue to write poetry for publication the following year.

With so much available time I became interested in podcasts and wondered about trying podcasting. I lacked some of the visual acuity necessary for some aspects of the editing processes. Undaunted, I proceeded to become familiar with as many aspects as I could effectively manage.

This site is meant to showcase those very things I do and learn to do. As long as there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I will continue to seek out new things to set my mind upon and get ambitious about.
